  • Dry leaf: Large, strong, even-colored threads.
  • Aroma: Strong.
  • Taste: Varied in the mouth.
  • Mouthfeel & body: Sweet and thick, coating the whole mouth.

Brewing Guide

  1. Use a gaiwan or small pot, about 6–7g per 100ml.
  2. Heat water to about 95°C (203°F).
  3. Rinse once quickly and pour the rinse away.
  4. Steep 5–10 seconds, adding about 5 seconds each time.
  5. Pour into a fair cup before serving.

These numbers are a starting point. Try shorter or longer steeps and see what you like best.

Storage

Keep it sealed and airtight, away from light, heat and strong odors. Refrigeration helps keep the fresh floral character; let the bag reach room temperature before opening so no moisture gets in.

About the Leaf

Not every bag shows these, but you may notice them:

  • Some stems and broken pieces: normal for hand-sorted loose oolong, and they brew just as well.

Flower bomb! Good quality!

Nice size of the dry tea leaves, just a bit bigger than in the case of the A++, but I couldn't notice any large physical difference. However, I noticed a large difference in the smell and taste profile. This tea is a flower bomb! Less complex, but, as you brew it after 3-4 times you can notice some perfume, red fruits, and honey in fragrance and taste as well, but stays dominantly like a meadow of flowers in the spring. Incredible! I could recognize lilac smell sometimes, but out of that, it's quite mixed. I can say, it is a bit even more resistant than the A++, and was more strong in flavor and taste for the last brews just with a bit. I would recommend this one as well, but only for flower lovers! :) High quality!
