"Bao Yan" (Fire) series started from around the middle age of last century with tea grade higher than another series "Bian Xiao" and both were mainly sold to people live in Tibet, west of Si Chuan province and Yun Nan province.
As a brand, it was finally registered in last 90's, but not published in each year and even shut down on production. Till 2003 year, Fei Tai tea company placed order on this series with requests of update on recipe and quality to make it suit modern market. From then on, "Bao Yan" has been successfully recovered. The photo of the 1st FT Bao Yan is also attached for reference.
The type in this series includes tuo (nest / bowl), cake, brick etc.
