Received as a sample. Wet leaves smell with hints of gooseberry . First couple of steeps gave really high tein kick. Sweetness steps in from 3rd steep and keeps for another 4. Not as bitter or astringent as I expected, not easy to over-steep. Had a pleasant energetic session with this whole afternoon/evening. As the previous reviewer wrote, I could focus very clearly, finished presentation that I thought will take longer. Overall plasent and recommended.

The smell of the dry leaves is already fresh and distinct and very pleasant. The wet leaves gives a rich full tropical Bulang smell, a kind of aroma of the tropical air, with fruity character. The infusion has a rich full in mouth taste, pleasant bitterness which turns sweet, the astringent part gives a vibrating mouthfeel. Long aftertaste with salvia producing effect. Stabil taste through many infusions. Even not sensitive for over steeping: the taste became stronger but the bitterness and astringency not became disturbing. And not looses the strength. The effect: not overpowering the Qi , but can feel focus, calmness and clear alertness in mind. Very good, tasty and pleasant tea. Thank you John to find it and provide it ! 🙏
