Product Overview
This 2026 Spring "Ye Sheng Shai Hong" is a rare bridge between traditional black tea and the aging potential of Puerh. Sourced from wild arbor tea trees in the high-altitude, primordial forests of Fengqing, it is processed using the ancient "Sun-Drying" method. Rather than being high-fired, the leaves are dried under the natural Yunnan sun, preserving active enzymes and a profound "Mountain & Wild Essence" (Shan Ye Qi). This is a living tea that will grow smoother and deeper with age.
Sensory Profile
-
Appearance: Bold, thick, and tightly twisted threads. The color is a deep, oily obsidian-black, reflecting the rich nutrients and organic matter of the forest floor.
-
Aroma: A captivating explosion of wild mountain flowers and resinous wood, underpinned by a hint of unrefined honey.
-
Palate: The liquor is a brilliant, luminous golden-orange. The mouthfeel is exceptionally silky and "thick," with a multi-layered complexity that balances wild sweetness with a robust mineral spine.
-
Finish: A deep and resonant "Throat Rhyme" (Hou Yun). The sweetness is clean and persistent, leaving the mouth feeling hydrated and filled with a lingering floral breath.
