The raw materials are sourced from wild ancient tea trees, aged between 600 and 1,700 years, growing in the pristine forests of the six famous ancient tea mountains in Xishuangbanna. During the Qing Dynasty, this tea was considered a top-grade delicacy in the imperial court.
After careful consideration by the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture People’s Government and the organizing committee of the "Mabang Tribute Tea Ten-Thousand-Mile Journey" cultural project, it was decided to use these premium raw materials to create this special gift tea.
