Origination:

The "7582" blend, introduced after 1980, became a staple in DaYi's lineup. However, production briefly ceased in 1985 due to NAN TIAN TRADING's preference for the 8582 blend, which contained more stems. It wasn't until the late 1990s that 7582 saw sporadic production again.

Taste Profile:

  • Tightly rolled, strong threads made from higher-grade leaves, including huang pian (yellow leaves), adorned with young buds and tiny leaves.
  • Exudes a smoky aroma with a medium level of both bitterness and strength.
  • Offers a harmonious balance of bitterness and sweetness, with a noticeable astringency.
  • As the session progresses, huigan (returning sweetness) and saliva production intensify, culminating in a fruity flavor, showcasing Dayi tea's typical blending style.

Storage:

Ideal for everyday consumption, this tea is stored naturally in Guangzhou, contributing to its unique characteristics.
