Tips for brewing Hou Kui.

3. After the root of the tea leaves absorb some water, then pour hot water again like first time slowly till the water as high as the tea leaves.

4. After the whole tea leaves absorb enough water, then pure water 3rd time till 80% of whole cup.

Then please enjoy your tea.

Soooo long This tea is an adventure in form and content. The_way_of_tea we like to keep. Amanda from Formocha in Amsterdam imported this in 2008(?). Brings back fond memories. "Tai Ping Hou Kui" where have you been so long? And why are you so long? Thank you Amanda. And John of course: +++++.

Tai Ping Hou Kui from Anhui. New to me, and very tasty.

Tai Ping Hou Kui from Anhui. New to me, and very tasty. Pale yellow-green in a white porcelain cup. Delicate on the first sip, but powerful and mouth-filling on the midpalate and long finish. Orchid fragrance predominates. The tea is lightly sweet and mildly tannic. A very satisfying and beautiful tea.
