2024 Premium Mao Feng Spring Tea
Sourced from the Fengqing tea region, renowned as one of the world’s original tea-producing areas, Fengqing boasts 56,500 acres of ancient tea tree resources, including 32,000 acres of wild ancient tea trees and the world’s oldest tea tree, the 3,200-year-old Jinxiu Tea Ancestor. The high altitude and latitude of Fengqing result in a longer growing season for tea leaves, leading to superior quality. The phenol-to-ammonia ratio in Fengqing tea is slightly lower than in Pu'er and Xishuangbanna, making it less astringent and more refreshing, ideal for producing black tea.
Traditional Craftsmanship
The tea undergoes several traditional processes: picking, withering, rolling, fermenting, and drying. Selected from high-quality Yunnan large-leaf spring tea in Fengqing County, the tea is meticulously crafted through these multiple processes.
Dry Tea
The dry tea leaves are curled and intact, featuring a combination of one bud and two leaves with a reddish-brown color and golden tips.
Tea Liquor
Brewed at 90°C, the infusion highlights prominent sweet potato and honey aromas.
Tasting Notes
The flavor is rich and full, with a high endurance to multiple infusions. The tea offers a sweet and smooth entrance with a thick mouthfeel and a full-bodied taste.
Leaf Quality
The infused leaves are complete, resilient, and brightly colored.
