Collection: 2005 MengKu RongShi

Puerh tea made by MengKu RongShi in 2005, now with about twenty years of age. Two are sheng (raw) and one is shou (ripe). MengKu RongShi is a tea factory in the Mengku area of Lincang, known for teas from Bingdao and other Lincang villages.

Da Xue Shan - Gu Shu Cha (Big Snow Mountain - Old Tree) is a 400g cake made from old tree leaves of the Big Snow Mountain area. Its long, tight leaves give a full, strong taste that has grown deeper with age. Chun Jian (Spring Bud) is a 400g cake of early spring leaves from the Mengku region, blended for balance and stored for many years in natural Guangzhou storage.

For shou there is Shou Bing - Jin Jiang (Ripe Cake - Golden Award), a small 150g cake made from arbor tree leaves, with tight, neat leaves and a smooth, mellow cup. Teas of this age are hard to find, so each one is also sold as samples from 7g, letting you taste aged MengKu RongShi before buying a whole cake.
