Steeping 1999 LaoTongZhi "Gu Cha Shu Bing" (Old Tree Tea Cake) 380g Puerh Raw Tea Sheng Cha

“Gu Cha Shu Bing Cha” (Old Tree Cake Tea), also known as “Haiwan’s 1st Cake,” holds a special place as it was not only released in the first year of AnNing Haiwan Tea Factory’s establishment (2009) under the Lao Tong Zhi (Old Comrade) brand, but it was also the first tea to officially feature the “Hai Wan Cha Ye” (Haiwan Tea Industry) mark on its wrapper.

Mr. Zou and Mrs. Lu, former CEO and prime technician of Menghai Tea Factory respectively, collaborated to create this new brand upon their retirement.

This tea, a result of their joint effort, is crafted using selected old tree materials and an elaborate blend recipe.

The tea threads are strong and neat, exhibiting great appearance after extensive aging.

It offers rich and strong Chaqi, along with well-aged characteristics and good variations.

Both the Huigan (returning sweetness) and saliva production are excellent.

The tea soup is golden, resembling amber in color, and is bright.

The brewed tea leaves display a vivid color, indicating significant potential for future evolution.

Highly recommended for those looking to enhance their tea experience.

Storage:
Naturally stored in Guangzhou, this tea has been carefully aged to enrich its distinctive qualities.
