Of heicha

This was my first aged sheng and is amazing - very balanced, almost no astringency, slight tang on tongue transforming to long-lasting huigan. It has an engaging/lingering mouthfeel and complex flavor of wood, herbal medicine, and dark fruit that change throughout the session. Definitely will reorder more for daily drinking

Perfect and sturdy for my needs. For large/small sizes that won't fall into the cup.

The description is spot on. The tea has a well developed aged flavor, brewing very dark. Smooth without off storage flavors.

I got one of these to compare to a similar cake I bought from another vendor. I didn't really think anything this old priced at $20 would be very good, but when I finally got around to trying it, it turned out to be really nice tea for the price. Then I got a tong for a daily drinker. Not a lot of things out of there that are both cheap and good. This one is.

Really good tasting tea. Since it’s “iron cake” I washed for around 30 sec, and let sit a minute or two, and then did 5 second increments starting a 10. At 20 seconds it got surprisingly dark. After 40 seconds I moved up to 10 second increments. Held up nicely in later steeps. Very, dark, rich tea. Just has a nice tea flavor. No appreciable negatives. Can’t really describe the flavor. Has hints of sweetness and hints of mineral, but overall just has a really great “tea” taste. The mineral tart flavor plays in well with this, without being dominating.

I love this gaiwan, how the glaze shines under light and the patterns it forms on it's surface. The glaze is very slightly uneven at the bottom, but that's not a big deal. Thick and very heavy. I also bought matching cups, these are very nice too.

This is a well-developed mid-aged sheng with nice buttery and sweet molasses notes that have developed. Very clean storage. This is a great version of 7542, and it would be a great entry point for someone looking to explore semi-aged raw puer.

Bought this one on a whim as the description seems interesting. An old listing mentioned it was made from aged materials but this isn't mentioned now.
The texture is thick and silky smooth. It has a rich pungent flavour with no hint of bitter or astringency. Notes of orchid and wild honey. It seems like very good value at it's current more reasonable price.
