2006 ChangTai "642" (Banzhang) 357g Puerh Raw Tea Sheng Cha

Pleasant tea. It has a light bitterness, and the taste reminds me of Nestea (people in Europe will get it). It’s easy to drink and has a nice, gentle energy. For the price, it’s great as a daily tea.
For me it feels quite simple and smooth, without much depth or complexity, but that also makes it very approachable. It doesn’t demand attention you can just drink it and relax.

The sample of this had a mellow character with rounded edges of aged tobacco and stone fruit. There is a soft returning sweetness and smokiness to this tea. The fragrance is quite soft. A good daily drinker.

Good cake for the price, little bit of smoke remains from the XG process. Not bitter, quite smooth.

A classic representative of aged raw pu-erhs from Banzhang. The taste is quite "silky" - a slightly astringent bitterness, turning into a sweet and sour aftertaste with notes of tobacco, dried fruits.
