-
Liquor: Clear and bright with a delicate yellowish-green tint.
-
Palate: Refreshing and crisp with a distinct "spring water" sweetness. The mouthfeel is smooth, leading into a light, floral huigan (sweet aftertaste) that stimulates salivation.
Brewing Recommendations
To fully appreciate the craftsmanship of this A+ Long Jing:
-
Water Quality: Use mineral or filtered water to enhance the tea’s natural sweetness.
-
Temperature: 80–85°C (176–185°F). Do not use boiling water, as high heat destroys the delicate amino acids and turns the tea bitter.
-
Vessel: A tall glass or a porcelain Gaiwan is ideal.
-
Method: Pour water first, then add leaves (Top-drop method), or add water to 1/3, swirl to "awaken" the leaves, then fill.
-
Steeping: Enjoy the evolving flavor over 3–4 infusions.
