2016 MengKu RongShi

Puerh tea made by MengKu RongShi in 2016, mostly sheng (raw), with one shou (ripe) cake. MengKu RongShi is a tea factory in the Mengku area of Lincang, known for teas from Bingdao and other Lincang villages.

Zhong Guo Meng Ku Se Cha (China Dream, Bitter and Astringent) is a 999g commemorative cake made in a limited run of 20,000 cakes. Mang Fei Gu Shu (Mangfei Old Tree) comes from one of the best known villages in Lincang, and Mu Shu Cha (Mother Tree) shows the taste of Bingdao tea. Both are 500g cakes.

Other sheng teas are Qiao Mu Wang (Arbor King) 500g, Da Xue Shan (Big Snow Mountain) 500g, Ben Wei Da Cheng (Original Flavor Great Achievement) 500g and Chun Jian (Spring Bud) 400g. Gong Ting (Palace) is a 400g shou cake for daily drinking. With about ten years of age, these cakes have started to soften while keeping the strong Lincang character.
