2009 MengKu RongShi

Sheng (raw) puerh made by MengKu RongShi in 2009, all in 500g cakes and now with more than fifteen years of age. MengKu RongShi is a tea factory in the Mengku area of Lincang, known for teas from Bingdao and other Lincang villages.

2009 was the 10th anniversary of the factory becoming private in 1999, and three cakes mark it. Qiao Mu Wang (Arbor King) is a special edition of the brand's benchmark tea. Rong Ye Yuan Xiang (Wild Leaf Original Flavor) shows the character of wild mountain tea. "1974" is an organic certified cake named for the year the factory was founded.

Cha Hun (Tea Spirit) is also organic certified, and 2009 is the first year of this series; in 2015 it was renamed Ben Wei Da Cheng. Mu Shu Cha (Mother Tree) comes from a series started in 2005 to show the taste of the Bingdao tea region. Each tea is sold as a sample, a single cake or a stack of seven.
