I feel like year after year, John managed to source great Tie Luo Hans. This year's Tie Luo Han is delicious. Upon arrival, the tea is in good shape, no "return of the green" so to speak. The tea isn't over roasted, it has a good balance and I can taste the character of the varietal. The Yan Yun is pretty apparent at least in the first steep. With a small gaiwan loaded with leaves, I managed to get 6, 7 steeps out of it. =P. With care, I feel like it will probably last more steeps. I crave rock teas that are affordable and decent, and this is it.

Based upon reviews, I rolled the dice and bought a tong of this tea. I'm glad I did! The flavor is very balanced with very little astringency and great energy. It's a bit on the milder side in terms of flavor, but the leaf quality is excellent and the compression is such that once you get the cake started, you can usually pull of a piece by hand. Overall it's an excellent value.

Best raw puerh tea I've had so far. It took some time to develop the taste, after it took the moisture from my home. Tastes like strong herbal tea, like mursala tea + white tea.

This is from the first batch of tea that i tried from King Tea Mall and I'm really happy with this tea (first one tasted)!
The dry leaves are super fragrant and smells of dried fruits. If I only smelled this, I would actually guessed that it was a flavoured tea because of the particularly strong, sweet fragrance. The wet leaves and tea opens up a lot with flowers and more complex aromas of a wild meadow. This reminds me of a raw moonlight pu erh I have tasted before and not a black tea, both in color and taste. It's very mild and mellow in taste with no astringency.

This tea is just really amazing. Buy atleast 100g more than you're planning to buy. You won't regret it!

This tea tastes like a vulcanic rock turned into red wood and then on this wood a tea grew. It has a bit of a weird almost like fishy smell but the other much nicer smells almost cover it entirely.

This tea has a really deep and a well round taste. I really feel heated and calm after this tea. Really recomend it!

There’s nothing wrong with this sheng cha - it’s evenly pressed from homogenous material, the leaves are neat and the presence of stems aren’t very annoying. The smell and initial infusions remind me of Yiwu profile very much, but the woodiness is less present in favor of dried fruits and the minerality is very gentle. It covers the throat with tarty-refreshing feeling and the huigan is there right from the first cup.
If brewed concentrated it turns into really strong punch, so I like to take 5-6g per 90ml clay or glazed pot.

Everything I ordered came intact and exactly as expected. That’s all I can really ask as a customer so I’m extremely pleased with my order. That said, I wish shipping fees were a bit cheaper, but I can’t really fault the store for that. I’m definitely purchasing from here again!
