Origination:

“7432” inherits the main concept of the blend recipe from the “Jia Ji Yuan Cha” (1st Grade Round Cake) from the early lineup. It was part of the first group of Puerh tea cake products named using serial numbers to indicate the birth year of the blend recipe (though many are approximate to that year), the main grade of tea materials, and the producing factory. For example, ‘74’ refers to the year 1974, ‘3’ indicates that 3rd-grade tea material is the main component, and ‘2’ is the serial number of the Menghai Tea Factory, which was part of the CNNP group and nationally owned at the time.

Description:

Historically, there was a long period from the later of last 70’s to 90’s when the 7432 recipe was not used. In 2006, the recipe was revived by the new Menghai Tea Factory, which had become privatized by then.

This tea uses selected materials from the Menghai tea region. It features an aged tea flavor with notes of camphor. The tea threads are tight and strong, presenting a great appearance after aging. The taste is rich with thickness and silk-like smoothness. It has a honey-like fragrance and a fruity flavor, leading to a refreshing and pleasing taste.

Storage:

Naturally stored in Guangzhou, this tea has been carefully aged to enhance its distinctive qualities.
