Origination:
The “7562” series was first created in 1975, predominantly using 7th-grade tea leaves in its blend. Initially manufactured by the Menghai Tea Factory, this series was designated with the serial number “2” among the national tea factories of that era. (For more detailed background information on tea naming, history, and the Menghai Tea Factory, please refer to our blog.)

Taste:
This tea features tiny buds on the surface and strong tea materials at its core, having undergone decent fermentation.

The tea liquor is red, leading to a mellow and thick mouthfeel, accompanied by a sleek, silk-like smoothness.

It has a floral and fruity flavor, with the tea essence blending well into the water.

Storage:
Naturally stored in Guangzhou, this tea has been carefully aged to enhance its distinctive qualities.

Just tried this one again it has mellowed out in the pumidor. The brick has become more easy to “break”. The flavor is very nice now with just a touch of astringency no bitterness or off flavors or aroma. This has turned into a better tea with a sweetness on the palate now with an almost wineflavor to it.
