Tea Name: An Ji Bai Cha (Anji White Tea)

Description: Contrary to its name, An Ji Bai Cha is a unique variety of green tea, originating from the Anji region in Zhejiang Province, China.

Harvest: 2023 Early Spring Collection.

Grade: Superior A+ Grade.

Tasting Profile:

• The tea presents as long, tightly rolled threads resembling needles, emitting a refreshing aroma.
• The infusion is characterized by its clarity and luminosity.
• It offers a palate of sweet and rich flavors, highly recommended for both daily consumption and for enhancing your tea experience.

Preservation: Store in a cool, refrigerated environment.

Shelf Life: Up to 18 months.

Characteristics:

• An Ji Bai Cha is distinguished by its white-colored young buds, giving rise to its name “white tea.”
• The leaves exhibit a near-straight shape with slight flatness, featuring green hues with silver-white hairs and golden, sharply pointed tips.
• It exudes a pronounced, lingering fragrance.
• Notable for its refreshing taste and high content of amino acids (18 types, with a concentration of 5-10.6%, approximately four times higher than standard green teas), it delivers a pronounced Huigan (returning sweetness) and stimulates saliva production.
• The tea’s distinctive quality is attributed to the tea trees’ sensitivity to temperature, allowing for a brief but optimal one-month harvesting period.

Recommended Brewing Water:

• Use mineral or filtered tap water.
• Ideal brewing temperature is around 90°C, not dropping below 85°C. (Avoid using excessively hot, boiling water.)
