Really nice tea, has a other side to the taste someone may not like, but I like it!

This tea is everything you want in a semi-aged ripe puer, plus some red tea characteristics. It has a light creaminess, good fruity notes (reminds me of rosehip), nice little funk. All the flavours are balanced, and it is certainly a great value for a tea of this age and quality. If you are still considering, just get a sample. It's one of my favourite ripe pu erhs. I think more people should try this to see what a quality ripe is.

This tea really showed me what a good ripe pu erh should taste like. It is soft and creamy, nice bitterness, and somehow the texture fells juicy and smooth. All the flavours are prefectly balanced, whether this would be your first ripe or not, it is always a fantastic value, and a must try. I have tryed an older version(2014) and think it's nice. This 2023 cake is just outstanding, so I ordered a whole cake.

Good candidate for people who are exploring the vast world of aged tea. This one is still fairly young for a factory sheng, so it does have some bite to it. The taste for me is that fresh river water, along with wood smokiness but a very pleasant one, high astringency. I think this tea can be aged or brewed right away. Great energy and intresting character. I feel like this tea is a good represantation of what semi-aged Da Yi can taste like.

Nice dark honey notes, great longevity, unique character/energy. This one is a must try for everyone in my opinion, as it is a entry level dark tea. The smell and taste, remind me of honeyed coffee and stone cellar. The energy is uplifting, mood enhancing, calming. It can be rebrewed even after hours long thermos infusion. I have ordered some more of this tea, because it is easy and satisfying to drink. For anyone interested here is my Brewing method: I break the leaves up into little chunks about 2x1,5cm big. With a tea knife pressing down visible lines of the leaf layers using a tea tray (light pressure is enough, maybe twist your wrist with the knife a bit, just no hands below the tea). Alternative to tea knife would be a butter knife or a flat screwdriver, and tea tray can be replaced with a regular cutting board. Then i brew it in a gaiwan a few times, maybe 4-5 infuisons. After that the leaves go to the thermos.

This tea is like a close companion, sweet/floral incredible smell and taste. These leaves are pleasant no matter how to brew them, if it's gong fu/ western or thermos brewing. After a few sessions with this tea, I have realised that, I need a least a cake of it. Now a cake is ordered. For me it is a go to option any time of the day/ any mood.

This tea has a good complexity, smooth texture, and relaxed yet sufficent energy. Oftentimes if I couldn't decide what tea i would drink to start the day, this one is the go to option. It tastes like campfire toasted marshmellow, with some deep roasted notes, showing no bitterness, slight sourness. I enjoy it pure, both gong fu/ thermos brewing styles. It is also great to mix with many other teas, for example some light/floral white tea, or something extremly bitter/astringent like a thermos brewed Ya Bao. This tea is an all-rounder. Personally, I enjoy it any time during the day and in any weather.

This tea has a clean stone cellar taste, with light woodsy notes, and a nice medicinal bitterness. The texture is very smooth and oily, a sensation comparable to eating ice cream (as if it melts on tongue while drinking). The energy is incredible, very strong yet calming and comforting experience. Dark tea may be an aquired taste for some, give it at least a few try’s with different tea/water ratio (less tea/more water), and maybe really short steeps (5/10s steeps to start). I have allready ordered some more. Liu bao has a whole unique character even compared to similar teas like shu puer, and it's certainly one of my favorite tea types.

The brew has good energy and great longevity, meaning good quality of leaves. I think it's a great price for a tea of this quality and age. This tea is my number 1 favorite aged Sheng at the moment, and in overall sheng expirience it is at least in the top 3.

Strong yet delicate, slightly bitter, with a powerful huigan; thick and silky in texture. The cha qi is strong, but not as sharp as in some sheng puers. Instead, it’s calm and gentle, giving a sense of tone and lightness—without that overwhelming effect where your body feels completely dissolved and you just want to lie down afterward.

2016 DaYi "Hui Zhi Yun" (Rhythm of Huizhou) Cake 357g Puerh Shou Cha Ripe Tea, 1st Batch

Tastes like dark chocolate pudding - very smooth and pleasant, with a long-lasting aftertaste. The texture is rich and velvety, coating the mouth in a satisfying way. I brew 10–12 grams in a 130 ml Yixing teapot. The tea’s energy is powerful; I would even say it’s one of the strongest shu puers I’ve tried. Definitely not recommended before work - you won’t feel like doing anything!
