商品系列: DaYi Puerh Tea
Menghai Tea Factory, known for its brand "Dayi" (or "TAE TEA" in English), holds a significant place in the tea industry, particularly in the realm of puerh tea. Established around 1940, it's situated in Menghai County and boasts a rich history and reputation for quality.
The factory sources its tea materials from two main organic-certified plantations located in Bulang Mountain and Bada Mountain. These plantations are known for their high-quality tea leaves, contributing to the esteemed status of Dayi teas. Additionally, the factory also acquires tea materials from various other regions across Yunnan Province, reflecting its commitment to diversity and quality.
Prior to 2004, Menghai Tea Factory was a part of the state-run China National Native Produce & Animal By-Products Import & Export Corporation (CNNP), designated as the No. 2 tea factory. This national status is reflected in the product names, with the digit "2" featuring in several of their renowned recipes like 7572, 7542, 8562, 8582, and others. These numbers are not just identifiers but carry a legacy of the factory's storied past.
The privatization of the factory in 2004 by the Yunnan Bowen Group marked a new chapter in its history, but it continued to uphold its tradition of excellence. Menghai Tea Factory's products, particularly the 7542 and 7572, are considered benchmarks in the puerh tea world. The 7542 is revered in the realm of raw puerh tea, while the 7572 holds a similar status in the ripe puerh tea category. These teas are not just beverages but are celebrated for their complex flavors, rich history, and cultural significance, making them highly sought after by tea connoisseurs worldwide.
