2023 DaYi "Hong Yu" (Red Jade) 357g Cake Puerh Shou Cha Ripe Tea

The tea smells like coffee beans, cacao nibs, dark berries and rye bread.
The tea soup is thick, oily. It has a deep chestnut and burgundy color.
The brews taste like dark chocolate with raspberry jam. This is the first shou which has such a pronounced fruity taste. There is a slight bitter and yeasty note at the end.

The only downside is that the cake is extremely compressed. I have hard time prying out chunks using my diamond pick.
