Tea Pitcher (Gong Dao Bei)

A gong dao bei, or fair cup, is the pitcher used in gongfu brewing. You pour the finished tea into it from the teapot or gaiwan, then share it out so every cup has the same strength.

Glass pitchers in heat-resistant borosilicate glass range from 230 ml (hexagon) to 350 ml, and one has a built-in stainless filter. The 300 ml Xiao Song Hu glass pot also works as a pitcher for green tea. Ceramic pitchers include rustic porcelain with calligraphy painting (160 and 200 cc), Ocean Blue glaze (150 cc), coarse pottery (180 cc) and Twining Lotus blue-and-white.

Many products here are matching sets where the pitcher is one of the options, alongside a gaiwan, cups or a strainer: Ru Yao kiln, Dehua white porcelain, hand-painted white porcelain, Rust Glaze, Sweet White porcelain, the Pomegranate set and a Qinghua travel set. Choose the pitcher option on each product page. King Tea Mall is an online shop based in Guangzhou, China.
