Collezione: Chaozhou Gongfu Tea Kettle

In Chaozhou gongfu tea, water is boiled in a small clay kettle called a sha diao, heated on a charcoal or alcohol stove next to the tea table. Clay kettles heat gently and many tea drinkers feel they soften the water. This collection gathers our Chaozhou kettles.

Most are classic sha diao in red clay, white clay or natural clay, from 420ml to about 1000ml, including a professional version with a hoop handle, a soda-glazed kettle, a multi-color kettle with a left-handed option and a borosilicate glass sha diao that lets you watch the water boil. Named designs include She Tiao, Yu Shu Wei, Lotus Leaf, Xiang Hu and Hollow.

Several products pair a kettle with a matching stove, such as the Nan Gua Hu (Pumpkin) kettle with the Xiang Ding Lu stove, the Gao Sheng Hu kettle with the Zheng Zhi Lu stove, the Da Qiu kettle with the Shi Tou Lu stove, and a 500ml sha diao with an alcohol stove. A large ceramic charcoal stove is also offered with or without a kettle. King Tea Mall is an online shop based in Guangzhou, China.
