This tea is crafted using leaves from old arbor trees in the Yiwu tea region, primarily consisting of high-grade materials. 'High-grade' in this context signifies a higher proportion of young buds and tiny leaves, with fewer large leaves and stems.

The tea is characterized by its smooth and mellow taste, which includes a hint of wood flavor. It features a resilient and long-lasting aftertaste that remains pleasantly in the mouth.

Highly recommended, this tea is ideal for enriching the experience of both seasoned and new tea enthusiasts.

Being a customer of KTM since a while, I have never been disappointed by the choice or the quality of their Puerh teas, whether naturally fermented or ripe. The 2004 Xinghai Yi Wu ripe Puerh cake is no exception : nice cake made with brown red leaves, a great smell typical of good ripe puerh, producing an excellent earthy but sweet taste whether in big tea pot or in Gong fu cha’s type of preparation.
