White Grape Juice

I cannot overstate the degree to which I am being literal when I say that this tea tastes exactly like unsweetened white grape juice. It is nothing I expected, but it is very delicious and a lot of fun. While I wouldn't consider it a daily drinker, I do consider it a very welcome change of pace from the usual fermented teas I'm fond of. The leaves are large buds, clean with next to no broken pieces, and it smells wonderful. This was a very fun try.

High quality

This tea is is of excellent quality. Dry leaf aroma is extremely perfumey and floral and once the leaves warm up in clay pot they start releasing a lovely malty aroma. Complex tasting and ots flavour evolves through the steeps. An overall starting flavour of flowers and orange zest that will gove way to a malt cocoa like background in following steeps and ends in a almost hop like flavour of fruity flowers. Reminds a bit of citrus lozenges and a slight bitterness of a hoppy ipa. Will gofar many infusions which is not normal for a tea this price. Will probably become my staple daily drinker in the hong category, very well impressed. Leaves look just like in the picture a lovely golden hairy affair, just beautiful. Dont get less than 500g or you will hate yourself.
