Product name “月yue光guang” which means “moon light” is a kind of white tea ( not puerh tea). Just because of both large leaf species of this tea tree and grows in YunNan province, also there are similar processing technology on production, it is generally called white puerh tea and it gains many tea lovers ever from domestic and abroad.
The tea leaf for material of this kind of product has dark color on the surface of the leaf but white color on the back of the same leaf comes along with fat bud with full of white hairs looks like a moon shining light on tea leaf, so it gets this name of “moon light”.
Also there are similarities on processing like White tea produced in FuJian province with light fermentation.
This tea product made by XiaGuan tea factory is using “one bud one leaf (一芽一叶)” picked up from JingGu tea region.
