Delve into the rich heritage of ‘Shui Jin Gui’, a superior grade Oolong tea, celebrated as one of the prestigious ‘Si Da Ming Cong’ – the four most famous Wuyi Yancha varieties, alongside Bai Ji Guan, Tie Luo Han, and Ban Tian Yao.

Harvested in spring, this exceptional tea is crafted from high-quality leaves, meticulously processed through a unique roasting journey.

It has undergone a medium-heavy roasting using traditional charcoal methods.

This careful roasting technique ensures the preservation and enhancement of the tea’s natural characteristics, allowing only re-firing when necessary to maintain its vibrant essence.

The result is a richly layered flavor profile that eloquently expresses the tea’s origin and craftsmanship, making Shui Jin Gui a distinguished choice for those who appreciate the subtleties of fine Wuyi Yancha Oolong.

A lovely, delicious tea. Sweet, fruity, roasty, aromatic, and very smooth, with a cool, lingering hui gan after drinking. Very nicely balanced, the delicacy of the tea is offset by the medium-heavy charcoal roasting, and the strength and persistence of the mouthfeel. One of the best of John’s selection of Spring 2018 WuYi YanCha oolongs.
