Technical Specifications

Grade: A++ Special Grade (High Bud Ratio)
-
Harvest: 2026 Summer Scenting (on 2025 Spring Green Tea base)
-
Type: Traditional Scented Green Tea (Loose Leaf)
Product Overview This 2026 Summer harvest represents the traditional scenting craftsmanship. This A++ Special Grade tea is composed of a selection of tender spring buds and young leaves. Through a multi-round natural scenting process (Yinfu), the tea leaves absorb the essence of fresh jasmine blossoms. The result is a marriage where the floral essence is infused into the tea, leaving a "scent but no petals" purity.
Sensory Profile
-
Aroma: A multi-layered fragrance. The top note is a fresh-blooming jasmine, while the base note reveals the clean sweetness of high-mountain green tea. The scent perfumes the air the moment the water touches the leaves.
-
Taste: Smooth and sophisticated. Thanks to the high ratio of young buds, the liquor is thick and silk-like on the palate. It avoids the common bitterness of lower-grade green teas, offering a delicate, full-bodied sweetness instead.
-
Aftertaste (Hui Gan): The "returning sweetness" is pronounced. After each sip, a nectar-like sensation rises from the throat, stimulating the palate and leaving a clean finish.
-
Lingering Fragrance: The hallmark of this A++ grade is its long-lasting floral presence. The jasmine essence coats the mouth, remaining vibrant after the cup is empty.
Brewing Tips
-
Water Temperature: 80°C - 85°C (176°F - 185°F). Avoid boiling water to prevent scalding the tender spring buds and extracting unwanted bitterness.
-
Tea-to-Water Ratio: 3g - 4g of tea per 150ml of water.
-
Vessel: Gaiwan or a clear glass vessel is recommended to appreciate the high bud ratio and the opening of the leaves.
-
Steeping Time:
-
First infusion: 10 - 15 seconds.
-
Subsequent infusions: Increase the time by 5 - 10 seconds for each additional steep. This grade maintains its floral character across 4 - 5 infusions.
