A Legendary Tea, An Intangible Heritage

The "Bai Liang Cha" (Hundred Taels Tea) is a revered member of the Hunan Dark Tea family's "Hua Juan Cha" series. Historically, its name derives from its net weight of exactly 100 old Chinese taels. Renowned for its intricate production process and demanding technical mastery, this tea has been praised by authoritative tea texts as "the classic of tea culture, the essence of tea history."

Appearance & Aroma

Dry Tea: Encased in traditional bamboo wicker and zongzi leaves, the dry tea pillar is robust and tightly compressed. Its dark brown luster hints at its rich character. A clear, penetrating tea fragrance blends harmoniously with the sweet notes of bamboo and the deep, inviting aroma of aged tea.

Flavor Profile

Taste: The steeped liquor boasts a vibrant, clear orange-red hue with a radiant luster. This tea is exceptionally durable, offering numerous infusions. Each sip delivers a mellow, profoundly sweet, and pure taste. The mouthfeel is full and rich, culminating in a prominent, lingering sweetness and a delightful, lingering aftertaste.

The Art of "Bai Liang Cha"

Authentic Dark Tea Classic: The "Bai Liang Cha" is a paragon of traditional Dark Tea. Its grand, rustic appearance, formed by the tea body encased in bamboo wicker, makes it a unified masterpiece of packaging and product. This design allows for superb natural aging, making it highly sought after for both immediate enjoyment and long-term collection.

Over Four Years of Excellent Aging: This particular "Bai Liang Cha" has been expertly aged for over four years since its production in 2018. Through natural microbial fermentation and transformation within its wooden storage, the tea's aroma and flavor have significantly evolved, surpassing those of newer teas.

Premium Raw Material, Rich Inner Quality: Crafted from superior quality black coarse tea (heimaochai) as its raw material, this tea possesses a rich inner substance and unique charm. The dry leaves themselves offer a clean, penetrating fragrance.

Centuries of Craftsmanship, Guaranteed Quality: Backed by the profound tea-making heritage of CNNP Anfu First Tea Factory, this "Bai Liang Cha" carries forward a century-old production technique. It's a testament to our commitment to excellence, making it superb for both drinking and collecting.
