"9908" series was initiated in 2007 year and published in each 4 years since then using "Cha Tou / Lao Cha Tou" (Old Tea Head) which is quite a hard chunk and taken as by-product after shou puerh's fermentation process.
Compared to general loose leaf shou puerh tea, it is so hard to be dissolved even after boiled several time due to the high ratio of pectin and sugar from young buds and tiny leaves.
On the other hand, the taste is thicker, more oilish and mellower.
Well recommended for improving tea experience.
