Long and strong tea threads with refreshing fragrance.
Natural sweetness from each sip.
Clean and beautiful tea liquor color.
Great taste and soothing tea flavor lingering long in whole mouth.
This tea really surprised me, because I ordered all the three quality grades of the Shi Xiang Dan Cong variety that is offered here, and this A++ should be the 'medium range', but it definitely exceeds that! One of the best duck shit flavour Dan Cong I've ever tasted. Long whole leaves, visibly processed with care, roasted just the right amount that it gives a little baked chestnut taste. First highly floral, especially in the fragrance, but after 3-4 steeps the whole tea opens, and you feel a very balanced, deep, somewhat fruity and floral taste. I really smelled jasmine, while the flavour profile would be hard to describe, some grapes and melon, but incredibly balanced. Long-lasting and resistant to higher temperatures (90-95 °C) as well! Highly recommended, and it is worth the extra $ compared to the A+ grade! Cheers from Hungary! ;)
