This tea is meticulously crafted by the Changtai Tea Factory, specifically commissioned by the Hong Kong TongAn Tea Room.
Featuring large leaves intermingled with robust stems, each cake of this tea is uniformly composed of the same high-grade material from its core to its surface.
The cake’s structure is notably loose, indicative of its quality and care in processing.
It has been aged to perfection in Guangzhou, utilizing natural storage methods to achieve a balanced maturation.
Upon first taste, the tea presents a potent, bitter flavor, which gradually gives way to a more rounded and mellow profile compared to younger teas.
It exhibits minimal to no astringency, and is characterized by a distinctive ‘Huigan’ - a lingering sweetness - and an ability to stimulate saliva production, enhancing the aftertaste.
This tea can be steeped multiple times, retaining its complex flavors and aromas.

This tea is part of an exclusive series of five, which also includes the Dragon (Long), Phoenix (Feng), Kirin (Qi Lin), and Lion (Shi) varieties. A detailed introduction to each will be provided upon verification and accumulation of sufficient, accurate information.
It is nice old tea. Can sustain many brews. Mild, no any bitterness. Very good as daily drinker.
Good for the price, relatively one dimensional in the brews so far.
one of my favorites
