Origination:

"7542" is a series with recipe created first in "1975" year mainly using "4th" grade tea leaf in blended tea materials and initially manufactured by Menghai tea factory represented with serial number "2" during national tea factories in the past history period. A great success on puerh raw blend tea recipe.  (More detailed background info of tea naming, history and Menghai tea factory, please refer to our blog)

Taste: 

With tiny buds covering the surface and fat and strong tea materials as inner body. Aromatic, fruity. Rich tea flavor comes with great Huigan (returning sweetness). 

Storage:

Guangzhou dry and clean storage.

Remark:

Called as "Benchmark" in puerh raw tea world.

Really Solid

This version of Dayi's 7542 from 2007 (701) has aged quite nicely. It's somewhat smooth already and has slight notes of maturity.
As for the price, it is very competitive by Dayi standards (I've seen these being sold for much more) but you pay for the brand of course.
Anyway, if you've never tried this recipe before I urge you to do so. To me, this example encapsulates what I love about pu-erh.
