The “7452” series, first developed in 1974, predominantly uses 5th-grade tea leaves in its blend. It was initially manufactured by the Menghai Tea Factory, which was denoted by the serial number “2” among national tea factories in its historical context. This tea features a well-fermented flavor, characterized by mellowness and thickness. It has a caramel sweetness and a pleasing fragrance.
Naturally stored in Guangzhou, the tea has been carefully aged to enhance its distinctive qualities.
A solid daily-drinker; no wodui, pleasant earthiness, brown sugar, chocolate, etc. Lingers decently long in the throat and lasts quite a few steeps for the price. Nothing too complex, but an enjoyable cup nonetheless.
