
Yue Kiln (越窑) is an ancient kiln well known for it's green porcelain products. It is also a name which means the unique processing technology different from other kilns in China like Ru Kiln, Ge Kiln, Guan Kiln etc.
The "Gai Wan" has two colors of Green and Beige. The capacity is around 100ml. Small and cute. Recommended for usage of 1-2 drinker in general tea session.
There are two saucers sold separately. The larger one is for Gaiwan and smaller one is for tea cup. The saucer is not must necessary. So you can choose it according to your personal preference.
The tea cup has capacity of 50ml with slim design for tea fragrance and flavor left inside easily.

"Gai Wan" is an indispensable tea tool during Chinese Gongfu Tea Session which is mainly for steeping tea.
Usage Step:
1) Put a few tea leaves like 4-8 grams into the body.
2) Pour boiling water onto the tea leaves. (Green tea or Black tea just needs boiled water around 85-92 Celsius Degress)
3) Soon put the lid on it and take the Body with lid to pour the water out. The first time is for rinsing the tea leaf.
4) Repeat the 3rd step again and again for enjoy tea soup. Extend the steeping time gradually in each to get better infusion according to personal preference.
